  5.         The files in this archive are as follows:

  7.                 COMMIE.DOC   - The User Manual
  8.                 COMMIE.EXE } - The executable program
  9.                 COMMIE.OVL }
  10.                 COMMKEY.ARC  - Contains the default Macro file. DO NOT
  11.                                EXTRACT THIS FILE IF YOU ARE UPGRADING
  12.                                FROM AN EARLIER VERSION OF COMMIE.

  16.         A second archive file, called COMMEXT.ARC, contains the external
  17.         protocols for file transfer. Within it are the original .ARC files
  18.         produced by the writers of the various protocols. All original
  19.         documentation is included. Here is a list of the files needed for
  20.         COMMIE:

  22.           From the main archive, extract COMMIE.EXT

  24.           From DSZ0329.ARC  extract DSZ.COM
  25.                MLINK16.ARC          MLINK16.COM
  26.                PCKERMIT.ARC         PCKERMIT.EXE

  32.         Please read the manual,  contained in the file COMMIE.DOC, before
  33.         using COMMIE.

  45.         COMMIE can be run successfully from a floppy diskette drive,  but
  46.         there  are  limitations in keeping log files on diskette.  It  is
  47.         recommended  that  you install COMMIE on a Fixed disk for  normal
  48.         use.
